Photoshoot #4, May 2016 - #wildchild
So my friend Jenna got her shirts in for her little #wildchild business and wanted me to do a photoshoot for her! I was so stoked! I got Jayna and our neighbor Sophia to join Jenna's daughter Jorgia. We went to my favourite beach, Aylard Farms/Beecher Bay in East Sooke. I just LOVE this beach. It's never super busy, the sand is light and soft. The dark rocks by the ocean shore are so beautiful! There are nature forests trails to explore right off the beach, and then a huge field on your walk down to the beach. Photoshoot dreamland. I was so inlove with these photos, and editing them were so fun!! It's so exciting to me when I load them to the computer and think they are awesome, then after I edit them it's like wow! The magic of editing, and changing tones and sharpening.... Amazing, it just lights a huge fire in my heart! I really love it!!
It is always tricky taking photos of kids because you never really know what you are going to get, and just got to go with it! I love their faces and them running, holding hands, exploring. It was so fun to watch them interact with each other and see how the older two helped out and took care of Jorgia. Oh, the beauty of being a child. Why do any of us have to grow up?
I love the last photo of Jayna and Sophia! We live one house away from each other, and they play together all the time. Right now they are little. I wonder where each of their lives will lead and if they will stay friends into adulthood?
Here are some photos of Jenna from the same night. I just love the golden hour for taking photos. The catch light on her hair! This girls is on fire;)
Boom! Another bites the dust. I freakin' love photography!
