Young Women Photoshoot #2 August 2017

The second YW Photoshoot I did was with our 3 little Beehives that actually don't look so little! And 1 Mia Maid. These girls are 12-14 and it kind of blows me away because...well you will see;) First off, here is Anna. She was stoked for the shoot and wow so photogenic! She is a quiet, yet spunky, and fun girl. I just love Anna. She moved here from Calgary and her family is so wonderful and have become our family friends. They make me love people! Cause sometimes I don't love people:) You know what I mean?! lol She is 13 going on 18, and a natural ginger!

Sweet Sam is lots of fun! She is so giggling, and has a sassy attitude but is so loving, so it's ok she is sassy! She is almost always half asleep because she stays up so late, and often says : "whaaat?" when she finds out a piece of information shocking to her. We all love Sam:) She is 12...

Next up is Macartney. She is also 12 and the newest to Young Women's. She is loud and random, and sweet, and happy. She loves school and learning and reading books. She is playful and adds delight to our Young Womens!

Kirsten is the oldest by a little bit in this group, she is 14 here. She was kind of shy but excited to be apart of it all. She loves cheerleading and anything to do with cheer! She always has a smile to give and I enjoy her company. She is a special girl, and a thoughtful one and has a beautiful heart and very kind eyes. I love her.

Young Women Photoshoot #1 August 2017

A little while into my calling as Young Women's President I thought it would be fun to do a photoshoot with the girls. I kept that thought in the back of my mind for quite some time until one day I asked a few girls if that would be something they were interested in...they totally were! So I offered the idea to the YW and almost all of them were interested! I think it's a special thing to have a professional lovely photo of yourself, frozen in time to remember you at a certain age. I know I would have liked that when I was their age;) So throughout August, I did a photoshoot with 3-4 girls at a time. The first one went to well with these three lovely ladies, and it was a lot of fun for all of us! It was really neat for me to see their personalities shine through. To see some so eager and not shy infront of the camera, while others were more timid. I enjoyed the time with them in small groups a lot and I cherished all the photos of these amazing Young Women, whom I love! Here is Callie. She is a Laurel, 17. Shy, and quiet, and very sweet. Wow, does she take a beautiful photo and I just love her golden locks!!

Here is Emilie, age 15, a Mia Miad. Loud and bouncy Emilie! This was right up her ally and she had a lot of fun. Her smile is very beautiful and contagious. She is a spunky and fun girl.

Next comes Morgan, age 15, a Mia Maid. She is a determined, soulful, beautiful, and kind Young Women. Hardworking and loving. She surprised me being so into the photoshoot and letting me know if I ever needed to practice for anything, she would be a willing subject:)

Some shots of the girls all together. At the end, we walked down to the beach, and they got some fun pictures in the water. This was such a FUN photoshoot, and we all loved it so much!! I couldn't stop editing these photos, it took me a few days, I was pretty glued to the computer screen for a few solid days!! ~August 2017
