Cuteness...

So the other night I was hilighting my sister in law Sally's hair. I had to wash her hair so I put Jayna in her seat and did one side up since she had her sleep sack on, so I couldn't do both sides. Good thing I did at least one up because....after I was done washing Sal's hair, I look over at Jayna to see that she is slumped over! I was thinking, "what the heck?!" So I go over, and see that her eyes are closed! She totally fell asleep! hahahaha. Oh, I thought it was hilarious. That is a first. She started to bob a bit and sit up a bit again. I got Sally to snap a few pictures, then I picked her up and she was totally fast asleep. Oh my little muffin, putting herself to sleep, that was nice.

Early this morning, Jayna was stirring and Andrew got her for me, yes! She fell back asleep when he picked her up. Then was not settling when he put her back in her crib, so he did this...

This one is my favorite! (Other than Jayna's bald spot!)

I thought it was the sweetest thing ever! I was in the other room with my good friend "Medela Breast Pump" so that Andrew could feed Jayna when she woke up. She doesn't really take a bottle anymore, well she never did very well actually. But I figured the best time to try is right in the morning when she wakes up cause she is hungry and that way Andrew can feed her and I get some extra sleep. This has actually only happened a few times, but this morning I thought it would be a good idea. Andrew woke me saying " Look hunny, Jayna is feeding herself!" He taught her to hold her bottle! Soooo cute! (While she spilt milk all over the pillow...oh dear!)

It is so fun having a baby and seeing first hand all her new discoveries. We love our little girl so very much!

Jayna's new toys...but Sophie takes the cake!

In the last 3 weeks I have started giving Jayna toys to play with, once I saw that she could hold onto things. It has been so fun for me to watch her explore and see things for the first time. She literally is growing up before my eyes! I can't believe how fast too, and I know everyone says that...but it is just so dang true. I mean, it's been 4.5 months since she was born and she is like a new baby to me. I think I gave her some toys to play with a bit later than other Moms do, but it was sure fun to see her play with them for the first time! Oh! How I love my little Jay!

I gave her a teething ring to play with and looked back to see this... hahaha

She kept it there for a bit before she grabbed it again.

Her new "Sophie" toy. Did you know that this teething toy has been around for 50 years and started out in Paris? She sure loves her Sophie.

Then she decided to squish Sophie!

After that, she had a stare down with Sophie...

Next, she was talking smack to Sophie...

"Mom!! Where is my Sophie??!!"

"Ahh, thanks!"

Classic rattle, this one isn't her favorite, cause it's too hard on her gums...
