We stayed in a Yurt!! JUNE 2017

Andrew has always wanted to stay in a yurt in Uclelet, so we booked it for nights at the end of June 2017!! It was pretty secluded which was nice and had a private gorgeous beach for us to explore! We went to the Uclulet Aquarium and the kids loved touching sea life and exploring there. We went to a park and skatepark. ( Jay loves those ). The kids rode their bikes and made new friends with a family from Mission. Jayna and the little boy hugged and were sad to leave each other, lol. We even got the family's number, but we probably won't ever see them again. Jesse was only about 6 weeks old and I was looking forward to napping with him in the cozy yurt, it even had a little stove! We got there really late on Thursday night, and Friday morning around 9am there was a huge chainsaw noise that lasted until ALL day until like 3:30! I was so annnoyed by it. It just ruined the peace and I couldn't nap, and our experience in nature was ruined. There were loose branches so they had a lot of work to do. Just sucked it was the ONE day we were there! We had to leave the next morning. We didn't check out till 12 and the lady was gonna charge us an extra fee, and I went all " Oh no you ain't! That chainsaw ruined our only day there" on her, and so she let it go. So I totally have missed emotions when looking back on this little trip. But in the end, yurts are super cool, and it was a fun experience...MINUS the chainsaws!
Julian was just chill walking around with a tin of Pringles being all wild + free.
After we left Uclelet, we stopped at a river on the side of the road. We had to carry the kids across the creek to get to a private little sandbar. We all explored there doing our own thing and enjoyed the beautiful nature! Andrew and Jayna did some gold panning, and then Andrew got creative and decided to be like Adam in the Garden of Eden and jump in the river! hahahaha Don't zoom in;)
