Hornby Island August 12th, 2016
There is a little island that is well known to many around here called....Hornby Island. It is a gorgeous, even a magical place. I have barely scratched the surface. Andrew's sister Kathy who lives in Edmonton was visiting the island in the summer and booked a campsite. Me and the kids stayed with her for a night. Andrew's brother Johnny and family came, his sister Anna and her family, his mom too. So we had a nice day at the beach called Tribune Bay, and enjoyed the sunshine!
Andrew and Johnny in conversation. Johnny is the oldest out of the 6 Forin kids.
Anna is a bit younger than Andrew and is always good for a photo! She is so much fun to be around, and I LOVE laughing with her!!
Julian is a little wanderer. Often when we are out, people who are with me say: " Where is Julian? " I say " over there. " It may not look like it sometimes, but I have an eye out for him, and I know he is ok. I enjoyed following him with the camera and capturing his little independant adventures on the beach.
Playing with Auntie Kathy...
Jayna is an independant soul too. She likes to explore and try new things. She loves dogs. She found one to play with. She threw sand up in the air and the dog would catch it!! They played like that for about 15 minutes!!! Maybe the dog was hungry? lol Sand couldn't have tasted very good...
Jayna is also a free spirit. She declares that hippies wear bare feet and insists on walking around with no shoes on much of the time. She looks a bit like a feral child in the close up photo lol. She is care-free. She is our Curly-Sue. She has determination and spunk. She is loved fiercely!
Kathy and I snuck away to walk up Helliwell Provincial Park. It leads to a dead end, and all you can see is ocean! You are standing on huge cliffs, and way down is the ocean. It is very beautiful and unique. What an amazing world our Heavenly Father has created for us to enjoy! Kathy and I have always had great conversations. Back in the day we would write massive emails back and forth on matters of the heart. It was nice to spend some time together.
I just love where we live! There is so much more that I have yet to explore!
