Trip to Port Angeles, WA.

Mondays are our Family Day. I look forward to them each week because Jayna and I get Andrew all to ourselves for the day!! We try to plan something special and fun. Monday morning I was up with Jayna early and for some reason I was feeling energetic and not feeling like going back to bed! The sun was shinning which always makes me happy and want to go outside. I looked up the Coho Ferry Schedule and saw the ferry left at 10:30am. It was 9:45am. So I woke Andrew up and said we should go to Port Angeles for the day and night, but we had to leave right then! He jumped up and was on board of course, I'm married to one of the funnest men on earth, always ready for adventures! So we got packed and were out the door in less than 15 minutes! We got to the ferry with a few minutes to spare and totally made it on! Here's a few pictures leaving Victoria...

We were hungry, unfortunately this ferry is not like the BC Ferries and their good selection is slim. We got a hot dog each. Ouuu bad choice. The ocean was very very rough, and the ferry was like a teater totter on the ocean! Oh man did I get sick, literally. Thank goodness I have an amazing husband who was by my side to comfort me, and hold the bag! haha By the time we were in Port Angeles I was feeling way better! Thank goodness.
We went for lunch at the amazing Chestnut Cottage, we had vouchers for a free meal. We had to get their famous fruit strudels and cinnamon bun! Oh they are sooo good!

Then we did a bit of shopping, and got a beverage at an awesome bakery/cafe. I didn't get any pictures though, left my camera in the car. We took a drive up half way to Hurricane Ridge...

We got pizza and headed back to the Hotel to chill. Count on Andrew to make a boring picture interesting haha.
